Tips for Halloween 🎃

Halloween is a night of magic and mystery, but for our animal friends, all the costumes, sounds, and new scents can feel a bit overwhelming. Here are a few gentle ways to keep their spirits calm and protected while you celebrate.

Create a sanctuary:

Set aside a cozy, quiet space with white noise, soothing music, or a fan to help buffer the sounds of doorbells and trick-or-treaters. Add their favorite blanket, toy, or crystal for extra comfort.

Keep the sweets away:

Candy and gum containing xylitol, chocolate, or raisins are toxic to pets, so be sure to keep all human treats out of paw’s reach.

Dress with care:

If your pet enjoys a costume, choose something soft and breathable that allows them to move freely and feel safe—comfort over cuteness, always.

Enchant your space mindfully:

Candles, cords, and dangling décor can be tempting hazards. Use battery-operated lights and secure decorations so everyone stays safe.
